Assistant Vice President, System Analyst (Trade & FX) MUFG – Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of Systems Analyst to function as a Trade and FX technical SME within the Information Technology Department under the Asian Systems Office. The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic regional team in charge of the Transaction Banking applications. The focus will be on trade (import/export functions), supply chain financing and FX for corporate customers. Job Responsibilities Work closely with the application team and business analysts to provide technical solutions that enable integration of systems involved in the processing lifecycle for import/export trade products, supply chain finance, and foreign exchange requirements. Provide technical solutions to connect systems based on business requirements, considering volumes, performance, scalability, and service level agreements. Document interface specifications for inter-connectivity between applications. Document conceptual and detailed design of the solution. Liaise with the solution architect, enterprise architect, and application team to develop the solution design. Provide inputs to the testing CoE team on scenarios, validations, and configurations for interface or application setup. Assist during incidents to facilitate remediation of issues based on technical understanding of the application and its integrated systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of application design and integration specifications. Job Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience as a systems analyst specializing in implementation of trade (import/export), supply chain financing solutions in APAC for the transaction banking business. Experience in a systems analyst role in regional/global system implementation for international and domestic trade solutions in other international banks, covering the full lifecycle from conception to post-production support. Experience with functional process flow for these products in the corporate banking space. Experience working with business analysts, application teams, and architects to develop integration solution designs. Experience with online, batch-based integration between systems using various connectivity protocols. Proficiency with APIs (internal and open) and security requirements for external APIs. Experience in hybrid on-premise and cloud environments. Proficiency in troubleshooting issues during testing and production incidents with an understanding of severity and business impact. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills. Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team player. Experience in SDLC and exposure to Agile methodology.
