This is a high-profile opportunity to join an elite team of quality assurance specialists. We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Engineering Quality Assurance Specialist who can bring their expertise and enthusiasm to this challenging role.

In this key position, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in electrical power distribution, control, and automation systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting incoming and outgoing parts to ensure they meet specifications and procedures.
  • Accurately recording and managing quality data to inform decision-making.
  • Identifying and reporting quality issues to management for prompt corrective action.
  • Segregating non-conforming products to prevent mix-ups and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Approving or rejecting parts based on quality criteria.
  • Conducting routine tests and checks on switchboards manufactured in-house.
  • Testing and commissioning switchboards on-site or on vessels to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • requiring surveyors, consultants, or customers.
  • in achieving quality goals and responsibilities.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the QA Department.
  • Following safety protocols strictly for all activities.
  • Ensuring inspection tools are calibrated and functional.
  • Preventing product non-conformity proactively.
  • Recommending, implementing, and checking the effectiveness of solutions for identified problems.
  • Overseeing the resolution process for non-conforming products.
  • Adhering to Quality Management System procedures to maintain compliance and control.
  • Performing other tasks as directed by supervisors.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum ITE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in electrical or switchboard manufacturing.
  • The ability to interpret technical documents and adhere to safety and quality standards.
