The Opportunity
We are looking for an
Logistics Executive (Terminal Storage)
to join their business
As part of this role, you will have to plan and manage the logistical activities of the terminal based on the storage customers' requirements and terminal operational facilities. Additionally, you will generate periodic reports and provide updates on stock inventories to customers and authorities.
Permanent , Full-time opportunity
Location : West region, Jurong Island (Transport provided at Jurong East)
Working hours : Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
Salary Package : up to $4500 basic + $500 Standby Allowance + VB
The Job
Plan logistical activities effectively and efficiently based on customers' requirements and terminal facilities
Coordinate closely with external (customers, surveyors, shipping agents) and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of logistical activities
Perform Customs Clearance Permit for all import and export shipments, including preparation, document submissions, declaration, filing, and facilitation of customs audit
Prepare, submit, declare, and file shipping documents
Attend to queries and complaints regarding logistical activities and provide solutions within time limits, following up to ensure resolution
Generate, post, and distribute weekly/monthly invoices
Maintain and foster good rapport with customers, transporters, and internal departments
Perform vessel vetting clearance for customers
Provide weekly/monthly stock inventory reports to customers
Schedule and coordinate customer meetings and terminal visits/audits.
The Talent
Diploma in Maritime Business or Logistics & Supply Chain
Comfortable with a 2-week rotation of 24/7 hours after office hours
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience
Experience in the terminal storage industry is preferred
