Data Analysis Engineer Role

Job Summary:

Lead advanced data analysis projects for customer and internal team purposes, focusing on H-M Matching & HDD Optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Isolate Head & Media Component effects in HDD optimization initiatives.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and media parameters affecting HDD Performance (Passrate/EC FR, HDD RW & Defect Performance).
  • Develop predictive models to forecast HDD Performance during the media development stage, utilizing KPIV/Parameter Matrix monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with research and development teams on HDD-Media analysis results and findings.
  • SUPPORT root cause analysis and improvement actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to think critically.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation abilities.
  • Able to comprehend complex analysis result relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background and understanding in analysis software such as Minitab, Tableau, Spotfire, JMP, R or equivalent.
