Job Title: Fragrance Formulator

Job Description:

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for creating and formulating fragrances using a range of raw materials. You will work in a dynamic laboratory environment, compounding trials as requested by perfumers, customer service, and evaluators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Dosing all raw materials with high accuracy.
  • Operating equipment such as weighing machines, mixers, filtration systems, and automated dosing machines.
  • Updating records and tracking every batch through our IT systems.
  • Maintaining inventory levels of raw materials.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you will need to have a professional qualification in chemistry or a related field, as well as a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a similar role in the fragrance industry.

Olfactory skills/knowledge is a strong asset, and basic skills in Excel are also required. Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.

You should be able to work accurately and quickly, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
