Business Analyst Role Summary

The primary objective of this role is to facilitate organizational change by supporting informed decision making through the definition and articulation of business requirements, project delivery, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management.

This individual will work independently on fast-paced projects and/or enhancements across a range of portfolios.

  • Consult with business stakeholders during the idea generation and framing stages of the project lifecycle or enhancement initiation to identify organizational challenges and opportunities.
  • Plan and coordinate analysis techniques required, assess progress of analysis and estimation activities, and define requirements for projects and/or enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery team members.
  • Perform decision and gap analyses between business requirements and stakeholder needs, and provide technical advice to the business and support technology delivery in the clarification of requirements, current system functionality, workflow, and process design.
  • Support the user acceptance testing and change management activities in the rollout of the delivered solution, and plan and produce quality communications that are clear, concise, and easy to consume.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Include degree qualifications in Information Technology, Business, or related fields, and 6 years of relevant experience as a business analyst with 4 years of experience in banking with AML and KYC.

  • Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle.
  • Proven ability to interpret information, identify patterns, trends, and links that inform decisions and solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels.
