The Physiotherapy Assistant supports qualified physiotherapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and therapeutic care to patients. The role involves assisting with treatment delivery, preparing equipment, supervising exercises, and ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining accurate documentation.
">- Assist physiotherapists in implementing prescribed treatment plans, exercises, and therapies.
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and materials for patient sessions.
- Guide patients through supervised exercises and monitor progress.
- Support manual therapy techniques as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Record and maintain accurate patient treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate patients on exercise techniques, posture, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of therapy equipment.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, documentation, and patient follow-up.
Qualifications & Skills:
">- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Eligibility for registration with relevant healthcare authorities is preferred.
- Clinical experience in musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, or rehabilitation physiotherapy (if any).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
