Our client is in search of a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Investment Data to lead the design and execution of innovative data solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze and document the existing investment data workflows, including ownership and interactions within systems used by custodians, fund managers, and the insurance firm.
Establish and agree upon best practices for the future of investment data integration, processing, and control mechanisms.
Create detailed process maps and data lineage documents, along with other materials to enhance understanding across the organization.
Identify critical data elements such as NAV, position data, and valuation inputs, ensuring their definition, sourcing, and governance are precise and effective.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a data business analyst, particularly in the investment or asset management field.
Deep knowledge of asset classes, investment operations, and key metrics (including NAV, AUM, holdings, transactions, and pricing).
Experience collaborating with custodians, fund managers, investment platforms, and finance teams in insurance.
Proficient in facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders across business and tech sectors, translating requirements into actionable roadmaps.
Experience with investment systems or data providers (like custodial feeds, portfolio accounting systems, Bloomberg, Eagle, SimCorp, or similar) is a strong advantage.
Preferred experience in a multinational organization.
