A leading decentralized exchange is expanding its trading team and looking for a highly skilled Quant Trader with strong experience across Crypto, DeFi markets, and DEX trading environments. This is a high-impact role within a fast-scaling protocol backed by top-tier global investors and known for pushing the boundaries of on‐chain trading. About the role: As a Quant Trader , you will be responsible for managing and optimizing algorithmic trading strategies within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem, with a particular focus on market making and trading on on‐chain decentralized exchanges (DEXs). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of crypto markets, on‐chain protocols, and algorithmic trading strategies. Key Responsibilities Trade actively across multiple venues with a strong emphasis on HyperLiquid trading , DeFi liquidity structures, and decentralized order‐flow. Develop and execute algorithmic trading & liquidity provision strategies in the DeFi space, particularly on DEXs. Monitor and analyze market conditions to identify market opportunities and implement risk management practices. Optimize trading algorithms for performance and efficiency across various blockchain networks. Work with smart contract developers to ensure smooth integration of trading strategies with DeFi protocols. Contribute to tooling, automation, and real‐time monitoring systems for DEX and HyperLiquid trading Continuously evaluate and improve trading strategies based on market performance and data‐driven insights. What you bring: Hands‐on experience with HyperLiquid trading (required). Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in crypto algorithmic trading or market making, with a focus on DeFi (preferably on‐chain DEX). Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, decentralized exchanges, and blockchain ecosystems. Proven track record in developing and executing trading strategies in live markets.
