Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure optimal performance and productivity, adhering to operational guidelines. Manage receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately track inventory levels and supervise regular stock counts. Implement systems to prevent discrepancies, ensure proper documentation, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support for high-performance results. Schedule work assignments, monitor progress, and address performance issues while fostering a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Develop KPIs to measure performance against company goals.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse. Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation planning and documentation.
  • Cost Control: Assist in budget preparation and adhere to cost control measures, optimizing warehouse costs without compromising service quality.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and operational challenges. Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, shipments, and staff activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics Engineering or relevant field
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Logistics Engineering projects, warehouse setup, and team management
  • Proven success in driving process improvements in warehouse operations and service delivery.
  • Facility management experience is an added advantage
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively in a multinational environment.
  • Motivated individual with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools (e.g., 6 Sigma, Lean) is preferred
  • Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
