Overview Senior Facilities Manager role at CBRE Asia Pacific in Singapore. The purpose of this position is to manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance of facilities within a campus and/or region. Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. Conduct client meetings and communicate to clients regarding regional facilities performance. Communicate to clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports. Manage the operations and maintenance of facilities within a cluster. Manage facilities staff to deliver expected service levels to the client within the prescribed budget. Develop policies and procedures to ensure that client contract specifications are fulfilled. Prepare presentations to management and clients to obtain approval for projects. Develop and recommend strategic facility management objectives for clients. Prepare capital project budgets and operating budget reports. Prepare periodic operating budget variance reports. Be responsible for facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis and ensure facility procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides formal supervision to individual employees within a single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. plans and monitors staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisals. Mentors and coaches team members to develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors aligned with the company's values. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED and a minimum of six years of related progressive experience and/or training. Bachelor's degree is desired, with focus on business, technical or management areas. Certificates and Licenses CFME candidates will have an added advantage. Skills and Capabilities Communication Skills: Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents; ability to write reports and make presentations; ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders. Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles; ability to forecast and prepare budgets; ability to conduct financial analyses. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve advanced problems and develop strategic solutions in a matrix-based environment. Scope of Responsibility Decisions are made with an understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may have short-term impact to the department.
