Job Title: Senior Laboratory Assistant
Job Description:
The Senior Laboratory Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory tests and samples, as well as quality inspections assigned by the supervisor. This involves being knowledgeable about all equipment operating procedures and quality control protocols, as well as competent in the use of laboratory equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting raw material process and finished product quality control analysis.
  • Performing advance maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of assigned laboratory equipment.
  • Maintaining chemicals and consumables inventory, preparing, and standardizing chemical reagents, as well as waste management.
  • Maintaining quality records and developing quality procedures.
  • Training junior laboratory or chemical technicians.
  • Calibrating equipment.
  • Conducting and contributing to risk assessments, quality procedures, and decision-making on quality and maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in Chemical Process Technology or a related field. Additionally, they should have at least 5 years of experience in conducting Manual Wet Chemistry or Manual Lab Testing, with hands-on experience in equipment calibration and reagent preparation.

The company offers a competitive salary range of $2800-$3200, plus a $200 site allowance. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided, including transport assistance to Jurong Island.
