Location Tai Seng Overview The Corporate Trainer is responsible for conducting and supporting both WSQ and non-WSQ training programs. This role plays a key part in developing new hires and casual labour, maintaining service excellence across designated outlets, and ensuring consistent learning outcomes through effective training methodologies and coaching. Key Responsibilities 1. Training Delivery Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on food safety, workplace safety, and other relevant WSQ and non-WSQ courses. Administer and grade assessments and examinations. Ensure training delivery aligns with course learning outcomes and organizational standards. 2. Outlet Observation During Operations Collaborate with brand heads to coach Service ACEs for performance and skill improvement. Provide feedback and coaching to mid-management to enhance performance appraisals. Conduct promotional assessments and performance reviews for mid-management staff. Monitor and uphold service standards and soft skills in customer interactions. During Non-Operations Support continuous skill and behaviour development through training and on-the-job coaching. Conduct Quality Assurance (QA), 5S, and Service Audits with department leads. Provide regular updates on training progress and outlet performance to the training team. Develop, implement, and monitor learning plans to address identified skill gaps. Participate in company initiatives and cross-departmental projects as assigned. Requirements Minimum 3 years of management experience in the Food and Beverage industry; fine dining experience is an advantage. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage service teams effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organized and proactive in managing projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. ACTA/ACLP, DACE, or WSET Level 2 and above certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Required to fulfill 5 to 8 operational sessions per week, depending on project workload.
