Mandarin is a core subject at the College. Junior School children (7 to 11 years old) have a daily lesson. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach spoken and written Chinese to children of all nationalities, ranging from beginners to native speakers. They will be passionate about developing both a proficiency in Mandarin, as well as an understanding and appreciation for the culture surrounding this important, world language. We value and encourage a creative approach, that engages children, while ensuring that they progress in their learning against our program and syllabus. Every child has access to a device and we encourage the use of technology, where it enhances learning. Above all, we strive to develop a love for learning in every child.
