Overview
Executive - Technical (New Car Logistics) at Cycle & Carriage Singapore. The opportunity is to join the New Car Logistics department as an Executive-Technical responsible for the day-to-day PDI workshop operations.
Responsibilities
Handling complete automotive workshop operations
Work with other team leaders in the department or other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation to meet management's objective
Ability to perform pre-delivery inspections and quality checks in accordance with manufacturer's standards prior to customer delivery
Familiar with the latest automotive developments, accessories installation, bodywork conversion and PDI processes
Systematic, professional and complex diagnosis of the vehicle using corresponding diagnostic tools, methods and facilities to determine cause of the fault and its rectification
Provide training and guidance to Technicians and able to lead team to meet company's requirement on timely delivery of new vehicles
Provide accurate technical advice and information whenever necessary
Perform final control checks and test drive to ensure satisfactory completion of jobs
Able to construct and present various reports on workshop operations using Microsoft Office suite for reviews on operations
Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time
Requirements
A minimum qualification of Diploma in Automotive Technology or related discipline
5 years of relevant experience in automotive PDI operations
Minimally possess a valid Class 3 driving license. Class 2B, or Class 4/5 would be advantageous
Strong leadership capabilities to lead a team
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning
