- Conduct routine safety audits and inspections of logistics operations, including chemical handling, loading, and delivery processes.
- Perform at least 60 delivery ride-along annually to assess logistics driver safety behavior, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and chemical handling practices.
- Lead delivery and customer site risk assessments, conduct post-incident investigations and track follow-up actions.
- Conduct safety induction and training sessions for logistics employees, including safe chemical handling, delivery SWP, and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with Logistics Manager to mentor and coach drivers on safety culture and operational standards.
- Maintain safe work procedure, risk assessments, emergency response, incident reports, training & toolbox meeting logs, and legal compliance monitoring to comply with ISO9001, ISO14001 and SS651 audit requirements.
- Monitor compliance with NEA, MOM, LTA and SCDF transport regulations, particularly on hazardous substances (HS) transport timing.
- Support documentation and timely closure of incidents with follow-up action tracking.
- Maintain current understanding of relevant EHS legal requirements and ensure updates are communicated to stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for submission to authorities such as the MOM where applicable.
- Provide backup support to the Plant EHS Officer on regulatory audits, emergency drills, and safety walkthroughs.
- Support plant-based safety training, data reporting, and legal compliance as required.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to meet operational and organizational needs. Position Requirements
- Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Level C, Diploma in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Health Sciences.
- Minimum 1 year's relevant work experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, chemicals, heat, and humidity, and move around the plant, including climbing stairs and accessing confined spaces.
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 15-20 kg and the ability to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Good vision and hearing to read safety signs, detect alarms, and communicate effectively in noisy environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, good team player and able to work under pressure.
- Extensive travel across Singapore is required for site inspections, delivery ride-along, customer audits, and emergency response.
