Job Title: Insurance Claims Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused insurance claims specialist to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing insurance claims efficiently and fairly, while maintaining a high standard of service to clients and stakeholders.
This includes communicating and coordinating with policyholders, third-party claimants, legal and industry professionals, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
You will also provide training and guidance to support staff in their respective roles, handle and process insurance claims efficiently, fairly, and in accordance with service level agreements and established protocols.
In addition, you will support underwriters by identifying policy gaps and offering risk improvement insights discovered during the claims process, conduct site visits, attend meetings of management, and perform on-site inspections as needed.
Your responsibilities will also include performing periodic reviews of claim files to ensure proper documentation and progress, proactively pursuing and following up on recovery claims, and undertaking other ad hoc tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in travel claims
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Solid understanding of general insurance principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and deliver high-quality customer service
- Possession of PGI, HI, CGI, or other relevant insurance qualifications (candidates without certifications must be willing to obtain the Certificate in General Insurance upon joining)
