Electrical Sales Director

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Sales Director with extensive experience in electrical engineering and construction project sales. The ideal candidate will lead the full bid and tender process, analyzing tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare competitive proposals.

  • Lead the tendering process for electrical engineering projects, from opportunity identification to contract award.
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze tender documents and prepare competitive proposals.
  • Conduct site visits and technical presentations as required.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the electrical and mechanical solutions business segment.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential partnerships and projects within the electrical and mechanical domain.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales or business development, with experience in the electrical & mechanical engineering industry.
  • Knowledge of local tender processes and proven track record in meeting sales targets.
  • Basic understanding of local code of practice and safety standards, especially for industrial Projects.
  • Experience dealing with Chinese-based construction companies is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
