Overview
Project Manager (Reclamation) - 2-year contract
Responsibilities
You will be involved in managing the whole value chain of a land reclamation project from concept planning, engineering design to project implementation, working within resource, time and environmental constraints.
You will liaise with government agencies to seek the necessary approvals and budget, lead in planning and developing workable reclamation profile concepts, including gathering and analyzing site conditions and engineering parameters such as soil, hydrodynamic and met-ocean, and assessing environmental impact studies; you will also drive project constructability assessments.
You will appoint and lead consultants in environmental impact assessment and engineering design related works.
You will lead in the appointment of contractors to implement the project, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high quality projects.
You are also expected to identify potential construction-related issues or contractual disputes and implement appropriate solutions.
What We Are Looking For / Qualifications
Background in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
Relevant experience in land reclamation, environmental impact assessment, hydrodynamic modelling, and marine structure works would be an advantage.
