Faculty Positions (at all levels) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Security
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore's first University of Applied Learning, offering industry-relevant degree programmes designed to prepare graduates as work- and future-ready professionals. Its mission is to maximize learner potential and foster innovation with industry through an integrated applied learning and research approach, contributing to the economy and society.
SIT's pedagogy integrates work and study, emphasizing authentic learning in real-world environments through collaborations with key partners. Its focus on applied research with business impact aims to support industry innovation and growth. The upcoming centralised campus in Punggol Digital District, targeted to open in 2024, will feature a vibrant environment where academia and industry are closely integrated with the community.
SIT emphasizes applied learning and offers degrees focused on science and technology. Faculty work with industry on translational research and innovation, providing consultancy to address industry challenges. This strong industry nexus equips graduates with deep skills and practical experience aligned with future economic needs.
The university is establishing 'Living Labs' within and beyond its Punggol campus to enhance experiential learning and applied research. The ICT experts at SIT work on horizontal technological enablers supporting strategic translational research.

Information Security : Mobile/distributed systems security, Cyber Physical Systems security, security analytics, digital forensics, vulnerability assessment, malware analysis and defense, Privacy-enhancing technologies, AI security.
Computer Science and Software Engineering : SDLC, requirement analysis, design, testing, optimization, analysis, simulation, database, computer graphics, distributed systems, computer vision, video analytics.
Emerging Fields : IIoT, computational fintech, robot-human interaction, Trustworthy AI, Explainable AI, Large Language Models, Quantum Computing.
Research teams focus on cybersecurity, AR/VR/HCI, immersive technologies, future transportation, AI, 5G, BCI, and embedded systems. Candidates who can enhance these areas are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will join the
Infocomm Technology (ICT) Cluster , a team of experts dedicated to higher education and industry transformation through applied research. Faculty undertake funded industry-relevant research, teach courses, supervise graduate students, and may undertake consultancy work with industry.
