Faculty Positions (at all levels) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Information Security
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore’s first University of Applied Learning, offering industry-relevant degree programmes that prepare graduates to be work- and future-ready professionals. Its mission is to maximize learners' potential and to innovate with industry through an integrated applied learning and research approach, contributing to the economy and society.
The university’s pedagogy integrates work and study, embracing authentic learning in real-world environments through collaborations with key partners. Its focus on applied research aims to help industry innovate and grow. The upcoming centralised campus in Punggol Digital District will feature a vibrant environment where academia and industry are tightly integrated.
SIT emphasizes applied learning and offers degrees focused on science and technology. Faculty work closely with industry on translational research, innovation, and consultancy, providing graduates with deep skills and work-ready training aligned with future economic needs.
SIT is establishing 'Living Labs' within and beyond its campus to support experiential learning and applied research. The ICT experts at SIT work with multidisciplinary teams to support strategic technological initiatives.

- Information Security : Mobile/distributed systems security, Cyber Physical Systems security, security analytics, digital forensics, vulnerability assessment, malware analysis and defense, Privacy-enhancing technologies, AI security.
- Computer Science and Software Engineering : SDLC, requirement analysis, design, testing, optimization, analysis, simulation, database, computer graphics, distributed systems, computer vision, video analytics.
- Emerging Fields : IIoT, computational fintech, robot-human interaction, Trustworthy AI, Explainable AI, Large Language Models, Quantum Computing.
Research teams focus on operational cybersecurity, AR/VR/HCI, immersive technologies, future transportation, AI, 5G, BCI, and embedded systems. We welcome candidates who can complement or strengthen these areas.
Successful candidates will join the Infocomm Technology (ICT) Cluster, part of SIT’s academic structure, involved in industry transformation through applied research, teaching, and supervision. They will have opportunities for industry-linked consultancy and research leave.
