Event Operations & Media Intern

Gain hands-on experience in event operations and media/digital engagement as a Sports & Media Intern.

Role Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth execution of our football programs while expanding our online presence and community engagement.

Sports Event Operations

  • Collect sports equipment from the office before events.
  • Transport equipment to customer venues and set up.
  • Conduct brief cleaning and checks of equipment before and after programs.
  • Supervise programs while qualified coaches conduct activities.
  • Retrieve equipment after programs and return it to the office.

Media, Marketing & Office Duties

  • Assist with daily operational matters at the office.
  • Research the football scene online and prepare insights.
  • Manage hotlines.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good communication skills and personable nature for community engagement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally WordPress.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Passion for sports and football is a plus.
  • Reasonable typing speed and general computer skills.
