Job Description & Requirements• Build and maintain relationships with small and medium-sized enterprise(SME) clients, understanding their financing needs and business objectives.• Act as the main point of contact for SME clients, addressing inquiries,concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.• Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and marketdynamics to provide tailored financial solutions.• Source and identify new lending opportunities within the SME segment,including prospecting and lead generation activities.• Conduct comprehensive credit assessments and risk analyses for loanapplicants, evaluating their creditworthiness, financial stability, and repaymentcapacity.• Structure and negotiate loan terms and conditions in accordance with lendingpolicies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines.• Manage a portfolio of SME loan accounts, monitoring loan performance,repayment behaviour, and compliance with loan agreements.• Proactively identify and address potential credit risks or delinquencies,implementing appropriate remedial actions as necessary.• Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as credit analysts and legalteams, to ensure timely and accurate loan documentation and processing.• Provide financial advisory services to SME clients, offering insights andrecommendations on business growth strategies, cash flow management, andcapital allocation.• Assist clients in preparing loan applications and supporting documentation,guiding them through the loan approval and disbursement process.Requirements:• Minimum 4 years' experience in commercial banking, SME lending, orrelationship management, with a focus on business development and creditanalysis.• Demonstrated track record of successfully originating and managing SMEloan portfolios, achieving lending targets, and mitigating credit risks.• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to evaluate businessfinancial statements, assess credit risk factors, and perform cash flowmodelling.• Familiarity with credit underwriting standards, loan structuring techniques, andrisk mitigation strategies in the SME lending context.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to buildrapport with clients, understand their needs, and negotiate effectively.• Ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and concisely, bothverbally and in writing.• Strong networking skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with keystakeholders in the SME community, including business owners, industryassociations, and referral partners.
