Job Summary The job holder (2-year contract) is responsible for spearheading all curriculum development (including learning pedagogy) and evaluation of all Yayasan MENDAKI (“MENDAKI”)’s educational and community programmes2 administered by the School Ready, Perform in School and Future Ready Teams in the Growth Group. This is to ensure that the programmes are up to date and in line with the continuous changes in curriculum design, teaching and learning pedagogical development3. The job holder is responsible for the identification of both onsite and online learning resources and tools to facilitate quality classroom teaching and management, for example, inculcating new learning educational modules like Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) to MENDAKI Tuition Scheme Learning Management System (“LMS”). The job holder will also support the Vital Group in the development of training materials4 for MENDAKI’s staff and volunteers. The job holder is expected to work from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays and may be required to work over the weekends and Public Holidays to support MENDAKI’sevents. Although the job holder is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he is also expected to travel frequently for meetings. Key Responsibility Areas a. Curriculum Development Lead, design and develop comprehensive, standard-aligned curriculum materials for MENDAKI’s various educational and community programmes for Malay/Muslim students from preschool to secondary levels across performance levels and the community. Lead in developing supplementary teaching resources, including lesson plans, activities, and multimedia contents. Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and/or instructional designers to create engaging learning resources. Provide inputs to the relevant Teams in the Vital Group on the development of training materials for MENDAKI’s staff and volunteers, when required. b. Curriculum Review & Evaluation Review and evaluate existing curriculum materials and make necessary revisions and improvements to enhance the learning experience. Lead, develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes and make data-driven improvements to curriculum materials, assessment, and tutor training. Lead quality assurance checks to maintain the highest standard of curriculum instructional materials, professional development, and tutor performance evaluation. Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with educational standards. Research and implement innovative instructional strategies, technologies (including AI), and methodologies to improve curriculum effectiveness. c. Team Leadership & Management Ensure the Team stay up to date with educational trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve pedagogy. Put up the annual Team workplan and budget for approval and ensure that 98% of budget are utilised by the end of the financial year (“FY”). Set goals and performance standards for the Team and ensure that targets are met at the end of the FY. Mentor direct reports and provide feedback to support their personal and professional development. Foster a collaborative culture that encourages the sharing of ideas and best practices among team members. Ensure that every staff member in the Team receives at least 60 hours of relevant training annually. Requirements At least 10 years of relevant professional experience preferred and have done at least two cycles of curriculum review. Supervisory experience required. Preferably had worked with two sub-school levels (Secondary and either Primary or Preschool). Preferably had worked within a single sub-school level (Preschool, Primary or Secondary). Preferably PhD in Curriculum & Instruction. MinimumMasters in Curriculum & Instruction Good understanding of youth, education and working landscapes. Proficient knowledge of instructional design and current learning pedagogies and technologies. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stakeholders across different levels. Effective persuasive communication. Team leadership skills. Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask. Strong project management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
