We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Onsite Desktop Support Engineer to support our client's enterprise IT environment. This role is responsible for desktop patching, vulnerability remediation, software deployment, PC lifecycle management, and collaboration with global IT teams. Job Responsibilities Patching & Vulnerability Management Deploy Microsoft and non-Microsoft software patches promptly. Remediate PC vulnerabilities identified by the Cybersecurity team. Follow up with users on patching issues and ensure timely completion. Investigate and resolve issues during software update deployments (e.g., Adobe, Java, Zoom). System Administration & Technical Support Support testing and rollout of automated patching tools. Assist with PC provisioning, deployment, and disposal activities. Maintain accurate PC inventory and records using ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) . Provide remote desktop and onsite technical support to end-users when required. Documentation & Reporting Document patching activities and maintain consistent update tracking. Prepare and submit scheduled monthly reports on patching progress, vulnerability status, and remediation metrics. Contribute to automation, standardisation, and process improvement initiatives. Team & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with the internal IT team and global IT stakeholders. Support team productivity through structured documentation and reporting. Job Requirements Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Strong hands‐on experience with Windows OS troubleshooting and command-line utilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel , mail merge, and RPA (advantageous). Experience in software installation, patch deployment, and remote desktop support. Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills. Experience collaborating with regional or global IT teams is an advantage. Familiarity with IS&T SOPs is a plus (training will be provided).
