Junior Matcha Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Matcha Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our café crew, you will be responsible for managing high-volume workloads, collaborating with colleagues to maintain excellent service flow, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve matcha, espresso, and seasonal drinks with care and consistency
  • Share recommendations and product knowledge confidently
  • Maintain and operate coffee equipment with pride and attention
  • Support and mentor teammates with your skills
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty coffee or busy café operations
  • Willingness to learn in espresso calibration, matcha preparation, and equipment care
  • Able to work well under pressure in a high-volume café environment
  • Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and team player mentality

What You'll Be Doing:
You will work efficiently to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload, collaborate with teammates in our small, close-knit group to maintain excellent service flow, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will prepare and serve matcha, espresso, and seasonal drinks with care and consistency, share recommendations and product knowledge confidently, maintain and operate coffee equipment with pride and attention, support and mentor teammates with your skills, keep the café clean, neat, organized, and calm, make every customer feel welcome, heard, and taken care of, stay on top of inventory-restocking and checking dates to keep things fresh, and work closely with the team to keep everything flowing smoothly, especially during the rush.
