Legal Counsel – MedTech Company I am partnering with a leading global medical technology company that is shaping the future of patient care across Asia Pacific. My client is seeking a strategic, business‑minded Legal Counsel to provide trusted legal and compliance support across Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand, and occasionally work with the China‑based legal and compliance team. Key Responsibilities Serve as a key legal partner, delivering pragmatic, solutions‑oriented advice on complex commercial, compliance and regulatory matters. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including distributor, vendor, licensing and clinical trial agreements. Support major regional initiatives such as M&A, joint ventures and strategic collaborations. Drive compliance programmes such as policy implementation, training and engagement with healthcare professionals and government stakeholders. Monitor and advise on evolving laws and regulations in data privacy, competition and fair trading. Candidate Profile Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years post‑qualification experience, including at least 3 years in the MedTech or Pharmaceutical sector. Strong regional experience in Southeast Asia; exposure to China highly desirable. Fluent in English and Mandarin due to working closely with China‑based counterparts. Commercially astute, collaborative and able to navigate complex, cross‑border environments with integrity and sound judgement.
