Job Description:
The Communication Facilitator plays a pivotal role in bridging the communication gap between healthcare professionals and patients from diverse linguistic backgrounds. This involves facilitating effective dialogue, ensuring accurate and timely conveyance of essential medical information.
The role requires translation expertise, particularly in IVF and reproductive medicine. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain a strong knowledge base of medical terminology.
Responsibilities include acting as an interpreter and translator, translating marketing materials, brochures, and informational leaflets between English and Chinese. Additionally, the position entails developing expertise in medical terminology, managing storage of biological samples, coordinating transfers of gametes, and serving as the initial point of contact for prospective patients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a requirement.
Required skills and qualifications include a degree in Business or related field, at least 2 years of customer service experience, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and good interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient operation of the clinic's service counters and patient-facing processes, respond to patient inquiries and feedback professionally, and be accessible after clinic hours to provide necessary support and follow-up.
