As an
Associate Engineer (Electrical & Electronics Consumer Products) , you will conduct independent electrical safety testing to ensure compliance with relevant international or national directives, regulations, and standards before consumer-safe products go to market within the Electrical & Electronic Service Line of the Product Services Division.
You will be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team developing new services and future businesses in digital transformation areas such as smart home technologies, wearable devices, and personal robotics.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and evaluate tests on products such as consumer information technology, audiovisual, and home appliances for compliance with safety and performance standards.
Prepare test and inspection reports.
Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services.
Maintain and upgrade test facilities and equipment.
Qualifications/Key Requirements:
Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with IT equipment and home appliance evaluation is advantageous.
Result and service-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive team player capable of working independently under challenging timelines.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Knowledge of IEC standards such as IEC 62368-1 and IEC 60335-1 is a plus.
