Join to apply for the Trainee Technician - Malaysia role at SIA Engineering Company . Selected applicants will undergo a 13‐month classroom and practical training programme depending on academic qualifications and be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to become an Aircraft Technician. Upon successful completion of training, you will be appointed as an Aircraft Technician and perform maintenance, servicing and overhaul of aircraft. Training 1.1st Phase (first 6 months): Theoretical training on specified modules in aircraft related topics at an appointed Malaysia college. 2nd Phase (7th month onwards): On‐the‐job training at SIAEC Base Maintenance or Line Maintenance Division. Obligations Trainees are required to serve employment of 2.5 years in the Company (training bond) upon completion of training. If a trainee does not complete training successfully or fails to serve a minimum employment period of 2.5 years, they must pay training costs of up to S$35,000 (liquidated damages). Requirements Possess an Engineering Diploma/Bachelor's Degree from a recognised college and university. Fluent in English with good communication skills. Willing to relocate to Singapore. Strong interest in a technical role within the aviation industry. Positive and hardworking personality. Must be able to differentiate colours for work purposes.
