As a result of the sustained business growth, SAESL has continued to expand its facilities and develop new capabilities for both its engine overhaul and component repair businesses. The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes: Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best in class engine turnaround times.

About This Role
This traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the program, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.
About The Traineeship Program
The program involves a fully-sponsored training program with a basic of S$1,700 – S$1,900 per month over the one-year training period (excluding other allowances).
The program encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training.
The initial familiarisation in SAESL provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training.
The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy.
The nine-month on-the-job training in SAESL provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Rolls-Royce Trent Engines.
Upon completion of the training, the qualified aircraft engine technician will serve a two-year bond with SAESL.
Requirements
NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (eg. Aeronautical/ Avionics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Manufacturing/ Electrical/ Precision)
Completed or exempted from full-time National Service Required to work on rotating shift work
