Senior Software Engineer (Full stack - Java/React) Job Description: We are seeking talented Full Stack Engineers in APAC with expertise in Java backend and web frontend development. This role offers the opportunity to not only contribute to the development and delivery of a next-generation High-Touch trading platform but also to play a leading role in shaping its architecture, aesthetics, and design quality. The successful candidate will work closely with a global team of engineers, production support professionals, and product staff to ensure global consistency and product excellence. Responsibilities: Design and develop backend microservices using the latest version of Java, AMPS, and Solace. Design and develop web trading frontends using React, Redux Toolkit, Tailwind, Finsemble, and AMPS. Implement strategic solutions for automated testing, platform monitoring, compliance controls, automated deployment, trade reconciliation, and application recovery. Partner with trading desk and product team members to help shape product features and enhance usability. Contribute to Agile and Continuous Integration processes. Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of experience with strong technical expertise in Java. Experience with the React web framework. Practical understanding of object-oriented design principles. Proficiency in development and design best practices for microservices and micro-frontends. Strong knowledge of automated testing techniques and frameworks. Solid understanding of continuous integration processes. Proactive in self-learning new full stack development technologies. Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a multicultural environment. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Familiarity with Equity trading products and concepts is a plus. Knowledge of TypeScript, Redux, and Tailwind is beneficial.
