This position is part of the NRF CREATE-funded SGSR project, focusing on developing soft active grippers for industrial applications, emphasizing coatings, surface, and mechanical properties, with basic electrochemistry knowledge required.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead experimental activities related to coatings development.
Design and perform experiments for coating development.
Apply coatings to soft grippers and demonstrate their performance in real-world scenarios.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields.
Skills in peptide synthesis and self-assembly.
Knowledge of coatings, interfaces, and electrochemistry.
Experience with device fabrication, soft robotics, or stretchable devices is advantageous.
Interdisciplinary skills, strong communication, and ability to handle complex tasks are required.
Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. This is a full-time, research-level position at NTU in the Research, Analyst, and IT functions within Higher Education.
