Project Manager Role Overview
The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex projects from start to finish. As a Project Supervisor, you will oversee carpentry projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and supervise carpentry projects, including framing, cabinetry, trim work, and structural woodwork. Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor carpenters and laborers, assigning tasks and ensuring quality workmanship. Conduct on-site training for safety protocols, tools, and techniques.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Inspect materials, workmanship, and finished products to ensure compliance with blueprints and industry standards. Enforce strict adherence to OSHA policies.
  • Administrative Duties: Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans. Maintain records of labor, materials, equipment, and daily progress reports.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and professional service.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: 2+ years in carpentry, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using carpentry tools, and understanding building codes.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:
  • Primarily on construction sites (residential/commercial); exposure to weather, noise, and dust.
  • Travel to project locations as required.
