Embedded Firmware Developer Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Developer to join our team and contribute to the creation of innovative embedded systems solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and verifying firmware for various embedded platforms using C/C++.

You'll work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and physical components. Your expertise in debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers will be instrumental in diagnosing and resolving complex firmware issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Firmware Development: Design and implement firmware for embedded platforms using C/C++ programming languages.
  • Collaboration: Partner with hardware engineers to ensure smooth integration between firmware and physical components.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve firmware issues using debugging tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
  • Optimization: Help optimize firmware to meet performance, power usage, and reliability requirements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, test records, and technical reports.
  • Validation: Assist in validating and testing firmware to align with product specs and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in firmware or embedded development (or strong academic projects for fresh grads).
  • Programming Skills: Proficient in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
  • Embedded Systems Knowledge: Solid grasp of microcontrollers (MCUs), RTOS concepts, and embedded hardware basics.
  • Debugging Tools: Familiarity with common debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD).
  • Communication Protocols: Understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART is advantageous.
  • Exposure to embedded RTOS platforms.
  • IoT & Wireless Communication: Experience with IoT, wireless communication (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), or power electronics.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • DSP & Medical Devices: Knowledge of DSP or prior work with firmware in medical devices/semiconductors.
