Scientific Research Assistant

This role involves collaborating with students to conduct experiments and obtain reliable data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the efficient use of resources in research sessions.
  • Coordinate class sessions and provide support during practical activities.
  • Promote ongoing cleanliness and maintenance of work areas and equipment.

Research & Knowledge Exchange:

  • Participate in the utilization of e-learning platforms.
  • Address laboratory-related queries, feedback, and correspondence effectively.

Collaboration:

  • Participate actively during department meetings.
  • Contribute and work proactively with colleagues in institution-wide working groups or committees.

Additional Duties:

  • Engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in a relevant discipline.
  • Candidates at entry level will be considered.
  • Relevant experience in a research or teaching environment is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required.
