What the Role Entails
Tencent Finance is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Finance IT Management Department. As a Finance IT Project Manager, you will independently drive complex financial system projects from end to end. You will be responsible for planning, requirement gathering, solution design, system implementation, and project delivery across multiple finance business and technology teams. This role demands strong project management expertise, deep knowledge of finance processes and IT systems, and excellent stakeholder management skills. You will play a critical role in optimizing Tencent’s finance operations through system innovation, standardization, and compliance enablement.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning, requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and operations for financial systems projects, ensuring timely project delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional development teams for seamless project execution.
Translate complex business needs (e.g., accounting standards, tax regulations, compliance, risk management) into system requirements and drive technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with international regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPPA, PDPA etc ) in system design.
Manage external vendors (development, testing, operations), ensuring technical excellence and resource optimization.
Drive internal process improvements and system optimization initiatives.
Who We Look For
Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields.
5+ years of project management experience in financial system implementation, with at least 3 full project cycle completed (e.g., ERP, billing platforms,
