The supervisor leads a team of inspectors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure consistent quality control practices. Resolve site quality issues: Actively address any quality-related problems that arise during the curtain wall installation process. Quality Planning and Implementation: Develop project-specific QA/QC plans. Create and implement detailed plans outlining quality control procedures and standards for each project. Create inspection checklists: Develop checklists to ensure thorough and consistent inspections are performed. Ensure alignment with project requirements: Verify that quality control measures align with client requirements and project specifications. Review and interpret drawings and specifications: Ensure that all work complies with the approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards. Quality Audits and Inspections: Conduct ongoing quality audits. Regularly assess the quality of work performed on-site to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with the QA/QC program. Perform quality control inspections: Conduct inspections of curtain wall components and installations to verify compliance with standards. Communication and Reporting: Participate in weekly meetings. Provide updates on inspection findings, discuss site issues, and collaborate with other team members on quality-related matters. Liaise with clients and stakeholders: Act as a point of contact for quality-related communication between the company and the client. Prepare and maintain documentation: Ensure all quality control records and reports are accurate and up-to-date. Additional Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with safety standards. Verify that safety protocols are followed during all curtain wall installation activities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Investigate and resolve any non-conformance issues promptly and effectively. Train and mentor staff: Provide guidance and training to QA/QC inspectors and other team members on quality-related matters.
