Our design-focused studio is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, creative minds for the Senior Associate Director (Architecture) position to join our team. Responsibilities
Delivers high quality design and/or technical work, engaging others with creative and innovative thinking.
Demonstrates a detailed understanding of the design process and project brief, coordinating the preparation of project deliverables and related activities.
Takes responsibility for quality control and supervision of project deliverables.
Coordinates and integrates the work of external contractors, suppliers, and professionals.
Acts as a role model and contributes to a collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged and best practices are shared.
Builds a network across the business and seeks leadership opportunities by directing and supporting junior team members.
Develops effective relationships with clients and consultants.
Supports senior colleagues with client presentations and contributes positively to project meetings and client engagements.
Takes responsibility for aspects of the project budget and liaises with stakeholders to ensure delivery.
Seeks to develop an understanding of cost control, fee charging and project finance, and considers how project fees are maximized without compromising client relationships and repeat work.
Job Requirements
Bachelor/Master’s degree in a related design field or equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Proficient in common design software; Revit is essential.
A talented designer with a portfolio that showcases creativity and innovative thinking.
Experience delivering large-scale projects through all work stages, within APAC regions.
Strong organizational and supervisory skills; ability to manage projects and people to deliver great results (able to lead 2-3 designers without daily supervision).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to meet tight deadlines and work proactively as part of a team.
Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationships with team members at all levels, clients, and external partners.
A strong passion for architecture, interior architecture and interior design.
Proactive, yet tactful, in ensuring team members meet deadlines.
Willing to travel as required.
