As part of our mission to drive operational excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled APAC Sourcing Manager (Japanese Speaker)to join our procurement team in Singapore. This role will focus on strategic sourcing and vendor management , particularly within the Japanese market . Role Overview: As an APAC Sourcing Manager , you will play a key role in developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple procurement categories. You will lead vendor negotiations, manage supplier performance, and ensure cost‐effective procurement while maintaining compliance with corporate policies. This position requires strong Japanese language proficiency to engage effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders in Japan. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for vendors in Japan and the wider APAC region . Conduct vendor evaluations, negotiations, and contract management to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms. Lead procurement tender processes , ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance standards. Manage vendor relationships, optimize supplier performance, and identify cost‐saving opportunities . Work cross‐functionally with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide strategic recommendations. Utilize procurement systems and analytics tools to track spending, performance, and market trends. Provide regular reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and strategic initiatives to key business stakeholders. Requirements: Fluent in Japanese (business level)with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders in Japan. 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within Japan or APAC . Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in contract management and vendor performance evaluation . Knowledge of procurement systems and data analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms). Experience managing procurement categories such as Facilities, Capex, Marketing, HR, and Professional Services is a plus. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills . Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, high‐pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.
