  • Duties and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Drone Operations Manager to oversee the management of our drone training programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing specialized training courses and contracts, as well as liaising with authorities, clients, and stakeholders.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for:
">
  • Managing VTOL (BVOC) training and ensuring all training and safety KPIs are met;
  • Liaising with authorities, clients, and stakeholders on contract matters;
  • Taking charge of UAV contracts and acting as the main point of contact;
  • Representing the organization in UATO and UABTO related matters;
  • Custodian of UA related training courseware and content in LMS;
  • Incorporating industry best practices, safety regulations, and company standards into training programs;
  • Delivering engaging and informative drone training sessions;
  • Assessing student learning and providing feedback to improve performance;
  • Coordinating and managing drone training programs;
  • Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate training records;
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in drone technology, regulations, and training methodologies;

  • Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

">
  • A diploma with at least 7 years of relevant training and management experience or a degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience;
  • An Unmanned Aircraft Pilot License (UAPL);
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ALCP/ACTA) would be an asset;
  • SFA, and CPR & AED certification would be an asset;
