Senior Applications Manager

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Applications Manager to lead and grow our software development team, and to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of web and mobile applications. This role will be central to our digital transformation initiatives, working across business units to design, deliver, and evolve high-impact technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft.NET platform (including C# development), hands-on experience managing complex application environments, and at least 7 years of direct leadership experience managing a team of software engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, creating a high-performance, agile development culture.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple applications—from concept to deployment and ongoing support
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of a broad range of software applications—including both web-based systems and mobile apps.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, set priorities, and align application development with broader digital initiatives.
  • Drive software architecture decisions, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
  • Maintain technical oversight while enabling autonomy and innovation within the development team.
  • Continuously improve development processes, code quality, and team efficiency through best practices and modern tooling.
  • Monitor performance of applications, ensuring high availability and user satisfaction.
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies and assess their potential impact or application within the business.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation across multiple initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience, including 7 years of direct team leadership experience, managing software engineering teams
  • Proven technical hands-on background in full stack software development, familiarity in Microsoft.NET (e.g. C#.NET, ASP.NET, .Netcore) and Frontend framework (e.g. Angular, React, Vue), with a solid understanding of modern application architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering and managing both web and mobile applications in production environments.
  • Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-based development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile development technologies (e.g., Xamarin, MAUI, or native platforms).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Exposure to enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP) and system integration.
  • Previous experience contributing to or leading digital transformation initiatives.
