Production Management

This is a leadership role that focuses on the end-to-end management of steel fabrication lines. As a production manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily factory and production operations, planning and organizing fabrication schedules to meet delivery deadlines, working closely with quality specialists, engineers, and site teams for smooth handovers, and building systems for quality, stock, and manpower efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in mechanical, manufacturing, civil, or related engineering and at least 3 years' experience in construction or steel fabrication management. They should also have a strong grasp of fabrication drawings, welding processes, and quality control, as well as proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with site operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily factory and production operations (steel, bollards, prefabricated walls)
  • Plan, organize, and monitor fabrication schedules to meet delivery deadlines
  • Work closely with QS, engineers, and site teams for smooth handovers
  • Build and enforce systems for quality, stock, and manpower efficiency
  • Mentor supervisors and guide workers to achieve consistent output
  • Uphold safety and MOM/BCA compliance at all times
  • Spot gaps and propose practical improvements to save time and cost

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Civil, or related Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction or steel fabrication management
  • Strong grasp of fabrication drawings, welding processes, and QC
  • Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with site operations
  • Familiar with MOM workplace safety regulations
  • You take initiative to refine processes instead of waiting for instructions
