**Core Responsibilities**:

- To perform approximately 80% direct hours work and 20% indirect hours activities in supporting the Cell Leader.
- Assist Cell Leader in managing a team of associates to ensure organization goals and objectives are achieved.
- Assist Cell Leader on daily Cell operations, including associate’s job assignment, manufacturing priority and managing the overtime to ensure that it is within the statutory limit.
- Assist Cell Leader in leading the team to achieve and maintain high standards of 6S and housekeeping.
- Support and participate in Barnes Enterprise System (BES) initiatives.
- Assist Cell Leader in communicating, coordinating and interfacing with other cells for parts process flow and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Assist Cell Leader on updating ERP System Syteline - Job Repair Link, Copy Routing/BOM, Shipping Tab, Operation Delete, Post and Un-post Job.
- Assist Cell Leader in Syteline job transaction, print-pick list and Traveler and submission work scope of each job order in WIP.
- Assist Cell Leader in verifying associates’ attendance.
- Assist Cell Leader in scheduling overtime.
- Assist Cell Leader in conducting daily morning cell meetings with all cell associates.
- Assist Cell Leader in conducting weekly cell toolbox meetings.
- Participate in weekly production Gemba walk and weekly management Gemba walk as necessary.
- Assist the Cell Leader in the annual performance appraisal review including providing feedback on cell associates’ performance.
- Assist the Cell Leader in highlighting HSE issues, maintain HSE compliance and promptly escalate all unsafe work conditions to the immediate supervisor/manager.
- Assist the Cell Leader in ensuring good line discipline amongst cell associates and promptly escalate all discipline issues to the immediate supervisor/manager.
- Escalate all issues impacting product quality to the immediate supervisor/manager without delay.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 to 7 years of direct shop experience.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of people, attention to detail and ability to multitask.

**Education Requirements**:

- Nitec/Higher Nitec or equivalent

**Experience**: Required
- 5 - 7 years: Direct shop experience

**Education**: Required
- High School or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field
