Strategic Leadership & Function Development

• Develop comprehensive strategic framework for transaction banking implementation across Asia Pacific ex Japan
• Create multi-year roadmaps aligned with business growth objectives and local market requirements
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across product, relationship management, operations, technology, risk, and compliance
• Establish KPIs and success metrics demonstrating implementation function value and effectiveness
• Represent implementation function in senior management forums and contribute to broader transaction banking strategy

Team Building & Organizational Development

• Establish organizational structure, define roles, and recruit top-tier talent across multiple Asia Pacific (ex Japan) markets
• Develop comprehensive training programs ensuring technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and client relationship skills
• Create performance management systems with clear standards, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs
• Implement succession planning and career development pathways for team members
• Foster culture of continuous improvement, client focus, and operational excellence

Implementation Process Design & Optimization

• Design end-to-end implementation processes delivering superior client experiences with operational efficiency
• Develop comprehensive process documentation, workflow management systems, and quality assurance frameworks
• Establish project management methodologies including templates, milestones, communication protocols, and escalation procedures
• Create quality management processes with client feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement initiatives
• Implement metrics and reporting systems providing visibility into implementation performance

Client Relationship Management & Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage complex client relationships and resolve escalated issues during implementation projects
• Establish client communication standards, feedback collection processes, and relationship management protocols
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across all business functions
• Represent implementation function in client meetings, industry forums, and professional associations
• Build organization's reputation as leader in transaction banking implementation

Risk Management & Compliance Oversight

• Establish comprehensive risk management frameworks identifying, assessing, and mitigating implementation-related risks
• Develop compliance monitoring processes, audit preparation procedures, and regulatory reporting capabilities
• Create business continuity plans, backup procedures, and crisis management protocols
• Ensure implementation processes incorporate appropriate controls across multiple Asia Pacific jurisdictions
• Collaborate with risk management and compliance teams to maintain regulatory compliance

Education & Certifications

• Minimum: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Preferred: MBA, Master;s in Finance, or equivalent advanced degree
• Professional Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, CTP, CMP, FRM, or equivalent qualifications highly valued

Professional Experience

• Total Experience: Minimum 15-20 years progressive banking experience
• Transaction Banking: At least 10-15 years in transaction banking, cash management, trade finance, or related areas
• Management Experience: Minimum 8-10 years senior management with team leadership and complex project management
• Implementation Focus: Extensive background in transaction banking product implementation and client onboarding
• Regional Knowledge: Asia Pacific experience strongly preferred with understanding of local regulatory environments
