Associate Relationship Manager, Priority Clients
Maximize new business/acquisition/referral opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships to the specified service standards for the Priority Clients segment.
Implementation and oversight of the below individual responsibilities:
Conduct a professional, consultative financial analysis and profiling session with customers to meet their financial needs/objectives.
Foster and deepen customer relationships by providing regular market information updates and trend analysis on local and international financial products.
In consultation with the PB team manager/branch manager/PTL, draw up monthly plans for achieving/exceeding sales targets to meet new business and customer acquisition goals.
Participate in marketing and promotional activities for customer acquisition.
Source and call on individual prospects.
Manage anti-attrition and retention of clients.
Organize and conduct sales presentations to groups, clubs, associations, companies, and other organizations.
Solicit referrals from other parts of SCB, e.g., RMs from C&I, staff, etc.
Comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and report any suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities related to the development and implementation of a strategy, for example, awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
Business
Responsibilities related to the delivery of business and/or financial objectives.
Processes
Reference the processes for which the Role Holder is responsible, as per the Operational Risk Framework definition of first/second line.
People & Talent
Responsibilities related to the development and implementation of a strategy, for example, awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them.
Governance
Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks (e.g., processes and policies), and oversight.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
Key Stakeholders
Cluster Heads, Product Managers, STMs, etc.
Our Ideal Candidate
RNF & CMFAS Certificates.
2 years of relationship management and retail banking experience.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
Client Acquisition Experience.
Account Management (of HNW Individuals) Experience.
Technical knowledge and expertise in consumer banking products (i.e., Treasury, Equities, Funds, Insurance, etc).
