Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Specialist
Serve as a skilled technician within a team to ensure serviceable vehicles meet delivery standards. This involves maintaining vehicles according to policies and legislative requirements.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have relevant trades certificates, minimally NITEC in Automotive Technology or equivalent. They will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections efficiently, achieving at least four inspections per working day. A "right first time" approach to maintenance is essential, adapting to changing demands. Deliver high-quality vehicle repairs in line with approved regimes and work instructions. Diagnose faults and determine effective repair solutions. Stay updated on fleet technologies and attend relevant courses. Contribute to team performance, ensuring vehicles are maintained to highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct vehicle inspections efficiently.
  • Apply a "right first time" approach to maintenance.
  • Deliver high-quality vehicle repairs.
  • Diagnose faults and determine effective repair solutions.
  • Stay updated on fleet technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant trades certificates, minimally NITEC in Automotive Technology or equivalent.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including shifts and weekends.
  • Engineering awareness and familiarity with vehicle component parts.
  • Experience using computer-based inventory systems.
  • Valid forklift operator licence and Class 4A / 4 / 5 Driving license.
