Principal Analyst - Communications & Branding

Senior Manager, Communications & Branding
Purpose of the role:
As a significant member of the Employer Branding and Internal Communications (EBIC) team, you will have a pivotal role in shaping AB InBev's image, culture, and reputation, both internally and externally. Your primary mission is to establish AB InBev as an employer of choice, nurture a positive workplace culture, and ensure consistent, engaging communication across all platforms. Your responsibilities will include executing the PR strategy, crafting impactful messaging for internal and external communications, managing internal and external events, and aiding in the attraction, engagement, and retention of top talent. Your contribution to the team will be instrumental in strengthening our employer brand and engaging our employees effectively.
Key tasks & accountabilities:
PR - Coordinate PR Initiatives:
Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, EBIC, and People Director to oversee the PR mandate, including agency collaborations, leader speakerships, media features, and event participation.
Media Monitoring:
Keep track of media coverage and industry trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Align PR efforts with business objectives by partnering with internal teams and leaders.
Crisis Communication:
Offer clear, effective recommendations during crisis or emergency situations.
Brand Inquiries:
Handle external branding inquiries from employees and leaders, coordinating responses with leadership and external agencies.
Best Practices:
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in communications and branding.
Internal Communications & Branding:
Content Creation:
Develop compelling communications, including mailers, social media posts, talent branding messaging, KPI reports, PR articles, and more.
Event Management:
Collaborate with internal teams to foster a culture of ownership among employees for implementing initiatives. Assist in planning, organizing, and executing key employee events and engagement activities.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. A degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Branding, or HR is an advantage.
3+ years of work experience in HR, employer branding, communications, and/or PR.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Experience in organizing large-scale team events and working with internal & external teams.

Ability to drive multiple communications initiatives, both internal and external.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across functions.

Enthusiastic, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
