Job Description

The Gym Service Crew plays a key role in the daily running of the gym, ensuring smooth operations, high customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires both hands-on involvement on the gym floor and strong operational awareness behind the scenes. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Counter & Floor Operations – Front-facing responsibilities as part of the on-duty team, which include cashiering, check-in processes, safety processes, handling walk-in and remote enquiries, and ensuring a seamless and welcoming customer experience.
  • Customer Experience Management – Monitoring service quality and leading by example in ensuring a positive, inclusive, and safe environment, including handling service recovery when necessary.
  • Facilities & Logistics Upkeep – Maintaining the cleanliness, functionality and safety of climbing areas, gear, and amenities, and assisting in logistics for programs or events.
  • Administrative Support – Handling general admin and ad hoc duties that support overall gym operations.

Job Requirements

  • Friendly and service-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage both children and adults
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Comfortable performing basic administrative tasks and using digital systems
  • Calm and responsive in managing safety and emergency situations
    Able to commit to a 5-day work week, including weekends and Public Holidays, based on shift schedules
  • Experience in climbing or the sports/leisure industry is an advantage; SNCS Level 1 or 2 certification preferred
