Drone System Architect

We are seeking an experienced drone system architect to lead the design and deployment of autonomous drone systems for real-world missions.

  • Develop drone systems from flight controllers to payloads, telemetry, and companion compute.
  • Craft and fine-tune ArduPilot firmware for performance, autonomy, and reliability.
  • Oversee a small team of engineers and manage projects from client briefing to final flight test.
  • Engage directly with clients to design technical solutions.
  • Promote system integration, testing, documentation, and post-deployment support.

Essential Qualifications

5+ years in drone development (hardware + firmware) is required. You should have deep experience with ArduPilot, MAVLink, Mission Planner, tuning, and debugging. Strong skills in C/C++, Python, and systems integration are necessary. Additionally, ability to lead technically, troubleshoot across hardware and software, and manage execution is crucial. Bonus if you've worked with PX4, ROS, UAVCAN, or have led full-stack UAV projects.
